Trying to tick off a 2022 resolution to run a Half Marathon? Grab some mates, register and get ready to take part in one of Australia’s most iconic half marathon events. The SMH Half Marathon follows the Athletics Australia rules for fair competition.

Start your run on Macquarie Street, adjacent to Martin Place before running through Sydney’s CBD, along Sydney’s stunning Harbour, take in a loop through Pyrmont before heading past Barangaroo and through the Royal Botanic Gardens on your way to the finish on Park Street at Hyde Park.

No strollers, pushed wheelchairs, pets, bicycles, scooters, hand cycles, skateboards or roller blades are permitted on course.
