Free Training Runs

We want to help you achieve your 2022 fitness goals, so we’ve teamed up again with our mates at JORG Fitness to help get you race day ready! 

Our free SMH Half Marathon training runs will commence on Monday, 7 March 2022 and will run for 10 weeks. The training runs cater to ALL abilities and everyone is welcome to join regardless of whether it’s your first half marathon or your 10th.

Day Time Location Training
Mondays 6:00 PM The Domain, meeting point adjacent to the Art Gallery of NSW Steady Pace Runs - Building aerobic fitness, training the body to run at a faster but consistent pace.
Thursdays 6:00 PM The Domain, meeting point adjacent to the Art Gallery of NSW Interval Training - Focusing on increasing speed and improving aerobic and anerobic fitness.
Saturdays 7:30 AM Centennial Park, outside The Greenhouse Cafe Longer Run - Focusing on building your Half Marathon endurance

*Please note the training runs will be conducted under a COVID-Safe plan so all participants will need to check-in on arrival. Pending current NSW Government Health Order restrictions, the training group may be restricted to a set number of participants so first come first serve.
