Charity Superstar Program
Go the extra distance for your cause by entering into The Sydney Morning Herald Half Marathon as a Charity Superstar. You will be part of a very exclusive group providing much needed fundraising support for your preferred charity.
As a Charity Superstar you will receive the following benefits:
Your entry fee for the event will be covered by your charity
Personalised Race Bib*
Enter the Start Wave you feel most comfortable in**
Receive event merchandise from your charity***
Be part of the fundraising community for your charity
Receive dedicated fundraising and training support from your charity
Build and develop a relationship with your charity and make a difference to your favourite cause
* You must sign up to be a Charity Superstar by 12 April to get your personalised Race Bib.
** If you would like to enter a Pre-Qualifying Start Group, you must submit your application before registering. You can find out how to apply here. Do not register into the event unless your application has been approved. Athletes cannot be moved into a different start group once registered.
*** Merchandise will vary for each organisation.
To qualify for a Charity Superstar place you need to:
Agree to meet the minimum fundraising target (depending on the charity this could be between $750 - $1,500)
Fill in the application below with as much information possible. From there your charity will contact you to discuss becoming one of their Charity Superstars!
